These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Wanted website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
Wanted is a Switzerland-based platform that connects customers with independent, verified professionals across categories such as home maintenance, cleaning, IT support, and design. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payments—but we do not employ the professionals, supervise their work, or provide the services ourselves. Any service agreement is formed directly between the customer and the professional.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Information you provide must be accurate and complete. Professionals must hold and maintain all licenses, insurance, and approvals required by Swiss law for the services they offer.
You may need an account to use certain features. Keep your login details secure and notify us immediately of unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may refuse, suspend, or reclaim usernames that violate these Terms or third-party rights.
Prices, service fees, and taxes are disclosed before you confirm a booking. By confirming, you authorize the applicable charges and agree to any service-specific terms shown at checkout. You are responsible for VAT and other applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed via integrated payment partners.
Cancellation windows, fees, and refund eligibility are displayed at booking and may vary by service or professional. If a professional cancels, we will help you reschedule or process a refund where applicable under the displayed policy. Misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms may void refunds.
Customers: Provide accurate service details and a safe environment; do not request unlawful services. Professionals: Maintain valid Swiss licenses/insurance, keep profiles/pricing accurate, honor bookings, and perform services with due care and skill. All users must comply with applicable laws and refrain from abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behavior.
Professionals undergo identity, qualification, and (where applicable) practical checks before listing. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may moderate or remove content that is fraudulent, abusive, or irrelevant. Verification increases trust but is not a guarantee of performance or outcomes.
The Platform and its content (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by or licensed to Wanted and protected by Swiss and international laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to such processing. We adhere to applicable Swiss data-protection law and, where relevant, the GDPR.
Platform only: Wanted does not perform services and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, quality, or results of services provided by professionals. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation: To the extent not prohibited by law, Wanted’s total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to Wanted for the specific booking at issue, or (b) CHF 200. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; where they apply, those provisions will only apply to the extent permitted by law.
The Platform may link to third-party websites, tools, or payment processors. We do not control or endorse third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
We may suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, or misuse of the Platform. You may delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., payments due, IP, disclaimers, limitations) will survive termination.
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. We encourage amicable resolution first. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland. Consumers may have mandatory rights under Swiss consumer protection laws which are not limited by these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Platform with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
